Crazy crushin’

Oy, oy, oy.  Thanks to Jade for submitting this crush story; it’s truly an ode to the inappropriately timed crush.

Im 19, and when I was 16 I had this amazing relation ship with this guy called Michael. It was serious(whatever that means) and it was great. But after 2 years we both went our seperate ways(well he moved away) but he did that stupid thing they do in movies and books and was like ‘I’ll come back for you’.

And that was worse than anything, because i had no clue what to make of it. Do I move on, do i ‘wait’ for him?

I loved michael, but pretty soon I made friends with this other guy, Elijah. And he liked me. And pretty soon we were a ‘thing’ but i still wasn’t sure how I felt about it. And he was quite an intense guy.

And anyway if that wasn’t bad enough, I get into a quite serious car accident. Which was just great. Michael finds out, and comes running. But before he gets here he phones, and all these feelings come flooding back. So I tell Elijah, that i don’t love him. Is that mean? Because I didn’t. I never said I did, he did, but i couldn’t. 

And he still doesn’t get the message.

So then I tell him, we’re over and all this stuff. And michael comes and guess what???? He has a girlfriend.

And I’m crushin on him like mad.
